Mikkel is an all-round fighter with a long history in martial arts. He has roots in Thaiboxing and is an awesome striker with deadly shin bones. Recently he started practicing BJJ in order to improve his skills in ground fighting. He has quickly become a good grabbler and is today a very complete fighter.

Mikkel debuted in Vikingfight I in a mixfight match against Peter Haraldsson from Sweden. It was a very tuff fight but in 3'rd round Mikkel managed to apply a neck choke and forced his opponent to tap out.

In Vikingfight II Mikkel got his second Vikingfight victory against Tjerk Vermanen from Holland, who was disqualified because of trouble outside the ring involving Tjerk's corner men. Mikkel completely dominated the match from the beginning the the end.

At Vikingfight IV Mikkel was up against Daan Kooiman from Holland. Mikkel won by submission in 1st round.
