Dave has been studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 7 years. Not only is he a purple belt under the legendary Royce Gracie but also Head Instructor at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Association in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Dave has recently been for a 6 months stay in Denmark training Thai boxing at Mikenta Gym in order to improve his stand-up fighting skills.

At Vikingfight II Dave was up against Daan Kooiman from Holland. Dave quickly ended the match when he caught his opponent in a leg kimura and forced him to tap out.
